Waiting for butterflies...I think it will be a while yet. I believe this is a Giant Swallowtail, who looks a bit tattered in August, 2025. The flower is Prairie Blazing Star. Not true macro shot, but a close-up shot with the Nikkor Z 400mm f/2.8 TC VR S with the bulit-in teleconverter engaged for 560mm.
