From April, 2026. My wife and I came across several Comma Butterflies while hiking through Great River Bluffs State Park. This one paused for a moment. The Comma Butterfly apparently hibernates in leaf litter, bark, and similar places. This one must have been newly emerged for Spring. Nikon Z8 and Nikkor Z 105mm f/2.8 VR S.
